The Front Line is een boxset bestaande uit 4 cd’s met de mooiste reggae. De box is uitgebracht op Virgin Records en richtte zich met dochteronderneming Front Line op reggae talent uit Jamaica. Op deze cd’s is het crème de la crème van het Front Line label verzameld. Front Line presenteerde zich als een militant reggaelabel, dat protesteert tegen onrecht. Dat blijkt wel uit het iconische logo van een zwarte vuist die prikkeldraad vastgrijpt terwijl bloed langs de pols druppelt. Ook muzikaal en tekstueel gaat het vaak over politieke issues.
